It has been a busy and exciting month for us, as we take the next steps toward bringing together the best of our Lumley and CGU businesses.
I know how much you value direct access to experts and decision makers in our business, and our State Managers are looking forward to introducing you to your local CGU underwriting, sales and claims teams after the Easter holidays.
Later in April, I look forward to sharing our new best of breed product wordings and further details about how we will be bringing our business together, and what this will mean for you and our customers.
Last month I was pleased to be able to attend a number of events for our partners, celebrating and recognising the value of advice.
I had the pleasure of attending CGU’s first women’s networking breakfast. Hosted by Victorian State Manager, Lisa Jeffrey, the event brought together an inspiring group of leaders from across our industry and created great connections and networks for the next generation of female leaders.
The Lumley Benchmark Awards were held to recognise the Lumley customers and their brokers who are leading the way in risk management strategies for fleet and property at the Lumley Benchmark Awards.
And last week Peter Oakman, NSW State Manager, held our NSW CGU Market Day showcasing our products and services. Several of my fellow executives from IAG Commercial Insurance also attended and we were excited to share our future and plans to deliver a market leading partnership and services to NSW partners.
I hope you enjoy this issue of Insights and I look forward to seeing more of you in the coming months.
