Added flexibility in CGU claims contents settlements

Starting in October 2014, CGU Claims introduced a new settlement option for our customer’s contents claims.  CGU can now quickly replace commonly claimed contents items from well known suppliers e.g. National Insurance Replacement Service (who partner with Betta Electrical, Dick Smith, Begents, Retravision and Ted’s Cameras), The Good Guys, Insurance Bike Australia and JB Hi-Fi.

What does this mean for you as a partner?

You can save time and avoid the hassle of obtaining quotes for replacement goods. Our chosen contents suppliers can provide you with prompt attention at a time convenient to you.

We are committed to supporting local communities and local relationships. Our suppliers have links to local providers, so often an item can be delivered/picked up from an established local supplier e.g. Betta Electrical, Retravision.

Each of our Retail Partners has been through an extensive selection process ensuring they are thoroughly professional, and combine it with outstanding customer service. All of our retail partners can provide our customers with settlement options (upgrades) based on IAG pricing. CGU Retail Partners can also provide our customers with: pick up or delivery options to suit their needs, disposal and removal of old appliances (including packaging) and installation where needed.

Our current approach, which emphasises our settlement flexibility to deliver what the customer wants, will not change. We will simply be offering our supplier model, and expect that the visible benefits will make it a great selling point for our mutual customers.
