Enhancements to Letters of Appointment

Effective from 1 September 2014, we've announced a change to the way we action Letter of Appointments, 

Overall the process and templates have been well received.  There have been a few queries about the process that we have addressed.

The process has been developed to provide the following benefits:

  • A seamless experience with minimal disruption to the customer
  • A consistent process with agreed business rules across CGU business units
  • Optional Letter of Appointments and Letter of Authority templates developed  for your use

Following feedback from the market we want to emphasise that you can continue to use your own Letter of Appointment template, however, if your own template is used it should contain the information that CGU require or it needs to be specified in the covering email/letter.
