Proposal to transfer CGU insurance licence

CGU has responded to last week’s major storm event and have already lodged in excess of 4000 claims.
Our priority is to help our customers as quickly as possible and our assessors and claims consultants have been assisting since Thursday afternoon.
We have mobilised our internal Motor and Property Assessors from interstate to increase our local presence on the ground.
We have set up two dedicated Motor Assessing Centres located in Archerfield and Geebung. Bookings at these centres will occur at lodgement.
These Assessing Centres will also double as PDR (Paintless Dent Repair) Centres, meaning that in some cases customers can leave their vehicles there to be repaired.
In addition, CGU have increased our workforce and engaged temporary contractors to assist with the workload that will be generated from this event.
We have also engaged with our network of Loss Adjusters and Builders to ensure we have the capacity to commence the repair process.
