UP AND ADAMS

Over the last two weeks, Collingwood’s own Taylor Adams (FWD/MID, $499,000) has been going bananas with huge scores of 126 and 146. He is currently averaging 123 over the last three weeks which sees him ranked as the fourth player in the competition based on form.

Last week, Goddard (FWD/MID ($559,000)  and Stanton (MID $563,000)  top scored for the Bombers against the Hawks which saw them take 19 marks between them. This will have Adams licking his lips.
Adams is cheap and scored 91 and 126 against the Hawks in his last two games and should dominate again this week.

RORY OUT

Rory Sloane (MID, $471,000) was a very popular player that was traded in last week, after the superstar bottomed out in price after a terrible run with injuries. But… It’s happened again.

Sloane will now miss the next four to six weeks with a fractured cheek bone and must be traded (again). So, with many cheap premiums out there, we have plenty of options around his price that will allow us to do a straight swap.
The highest averaging player from 2014, Tom Rockliff (MID $485,000) should return this week and is always a top pick.

Michael Barlow (MID $489,000) bounced back to some form last week with 117 and should continue to rise in price from this point on.

Jack Steele (FWD/MID $249,000) is a handy downgrade option, if you need the cash to fix up other positions. This GWS future star scored 92 in his first game this year and is a tackling beast.

CALVIN’S CAPTAINS

BEST PICKDane Swan (FWD/MID $591,000)

Against the Hawks, Swanny has an amazing record. He scored 102 against them last year which just happened to be his lowest score against them in his last 11 games. Yes, 11 games.
He scored 110 last week and has been in ripping form, not dropping below 103 in his last six games. Add to this the fact that he has averaged 115 at the MCG in his last three games and our decision for captaincy seems pretty simple this week. Go Swanny!

NEXT BESTDavid Armitage (MID $580,000)

This guy is so good. He scored 105 last week, his tenth score in triple figures this year. He had a game high 129pts against the Bombers in round 5 and will crack the 100 mark once again this week with ease.

THE ROUGHIETodd Goldstein (RUC $557,000)

Maybe not a ‘roughie’ but will you have the guts to lock in Goldy this week. I would.
He has scored 108, 102 and 104 on the Suns in his last three games and will be massive against them this Saturday. Last week, Cam Wood (RUC $320,000) and Matthew Kreuzer (RUC $297,000) found it very easy against Tom Nicholls averaging 19 touches and 7 marks between them. Goldy will be the sole ruck though and he’ll go 120+ without breaking a sweat.
