WorkCover NSW announces results of tender process for agents

WorkCover NSW has today announced the outcome of its tender process for agents, with CGU retaining its position as a major provider of Workers Compensation in New South Wales.

WorkCover NSW has confirmed that CGU will operate as an agent for the next three years retaining our current market share of approximately 16%.

CGU Executive General Manager Claims, Jen Mitchell said CGU was pleased to continue as an agent in the NSW scheme.

“CGU is a major provider of workers compensation insurance nationally and we are delighted to retain our role as a significant agent in the NSW scheme.”

“We are proud of the support we give injured workers in helping them return to work, and we look forward to playing a key role in the WorkCover NSW scheme over the next three years,” Jen said.

Under the new agreement, CGU will continue to manage existing Generalist and Tail claims on behalf of WorkCover NSW.
