CGU makes claiming even easier

CGU has launched a new Claims app, making it even easier for you to claim and record important incident details right after an event occurs.

If you are in a vehicle accident, CGU Claim Support will guide you through recording incident details – including rego numbers, witness details and photos – which you can then share immediately with CGU’s claims team.

If you’re a CGU travel insurance customer, you can download the app before you go on your trip to ensure you have our international 24/7 emergency assistance contact numbers easily accessible in case you need urgent assistance.

Donna Walker, CGU’s General Manager of Claims, said that the app is another example of how CGU makes claims easy for customers.

“We know making a claim can be a stressful time for customers, which is why we make our claims process simple and hassle-free.  The CGU Claim Support app gives our customers another way to make a claim, while supporting them through the process of gathering all the information they need right at the time of an incident.”

The CGU Claim Support app:

  • Guides you through gathering details (registration, witness names, photos) after an incident
  • Allows you to share these details immediately with CGU’s claims team, starting the claims process
  • Provides important contact information for CGU’s claims team, including our emergency travel assistance numbers
