What is Listed Events cover?
CGU Listed Events Home Insurance provides value for money cover for each of the events detailed in your policy, such as fire or explosion, lightning, earthquake, theft or attempted theft, malicious damage, cyclone, storm, rainwater or wind damage and even a car running into your house. It also includes flood cover in all new policies and renewals issued from 1 February 2012.

If the electric motor of your reverse cycle air conditioning unit burns out unexpectedly, CGU Listed Events Home Insurance will cover the replacement of burnt out domestic electrical motors that are up to 15 years old.
Due to the introduction of flood cover in our Product Disclosure Statement (PDS), for policies commencing from 1 February 2012, our PDS has been updated to include this new policy benefit. When obtaining the relevant PDS for your policy, check the commencement date of your policy. For policies with a commencement date from 1 February 2012, use the forms and brochures with flood cover on the right hand side of this page. For policies prior to 31 January 2012, use the forms and brochures without flood cover located below these.
