CGU is proud to be a Premier Partner of the Collingwood Football Club. Since 2009, CGU has partnered with Collingwood to connect with the Australian community, as well as reward and recognise our people, partners and customers through opportunities with the club. The partnership will continue through to 2015.
Partnering with Collingwood provides CGU opportunities to raise brand awareness among its target market and build relationships outside of the insurance environment. In 2012 CGU ranked #2 for sponsor visibility across all Australian sporting codes. We understand that the more people who know about CGU, the easier it is for our brokers, authorised representatives and partners to sell our products.
Collingwood continues to be one of the highest performing clubs in the AFL – and across all Australian sport. In 2012, the club ranked #1 for match attendance (1.449 million in total), #1 for TV audience (24 million in total) and reached a membership record of 73,605.
