Who should attend?

Managers, supervisors or team leaders who have not previously completed OHS training relevant to their people management responsibilities or who need a refresher to update their OHS knowledge and skills.

OHS legislation requires that employers [supervisors & managers] ensure the health, safety and welfare of employees and others at work. This course will introduce components of OHS management systems and provide you with knowledge and skills to implement and monitor your organisation’s OHS policies in accordance with OHS legislation.

  • Communication and participative arrangements
  • OHS Information and training
  • Risk management, including:
    • identify hazards and assess risk
    • implement and monitor controls

Participants who successfully complete the course receive a certificate of attendance.
