Victorian Fire Services Levy: Transitioning to a fairer system
A new fairer and more equitable system for funding Victoria's fire services will come into effect from 1 July 2013. Funding will be removed from insurance and replaced by a new levy that will be collected by local councils as part of the rates notice.
